Introduction

15+ years of experience managing complex IT Project and over 20 years of IT experience.

 

I strive at getting project teams to perform while delivering the best solutions possible within the time, budget and requirement set – ensuring solutions delivery that supports and drives the business forward. I have a deep technical understanding due to my degree in IT (Data Technician). 

 

As IT becomes a business driver for success and time to marked key whether you succeed, I have specialized in implementing / upgrading complex IT systems – transitioning legacy system to e.g. service based cloud solutions such as Office 365 and Salesforce, or from physical infrastructure to virtual environments. I have experience from both the private and the public sector.

A brush of my past and present

Common for all projects is that I had the overall project management responsibility – Initiation of project, creating project Business case/charter/brief. External contractor negations, Project management plans and daily project execution and follow-up.


Company acquisition, Leading the IT transition and migration of IT infrastructure / services.

Senior Project Manager, responsible for transitioning/migrating all IT related services and solution across all business streams when SimCorp acquired AIM Software.

Migrating/upgrading core infrastructure components e.g. local on-premise infrastructure, laptop deployment and cloud services like (O365) Exchange, SharePoint, MS Team and OneDrive.

Supporting the business when transitioning Business Solutions while at the same time ensuring daily operation with minimum disruption.

 

  • Working with Agile teams, working with backlog and user stories to plan and implement solutions.

Integration platform - Future roadmap for Integrations.

Project Managers, leading the analysis phase within RegionH / Region Zealand - Analysing market trends and potential solution within the integration platform landscape (ESB, iPass, API, iSaas), to ensure an up to date integration platform within their joint SP "SundhedsPlatformen".

Upgrade and testing of Integration(s) between critical systems and 3part.

Project Managers, responsible for Integrations, a part of "SundhedsPlatformen" a very big healthcare project roll out to RegionH and Region Zealand, upgrading from SP2015 to SP2018 and going from LPR2 to LPR3.

Migrating core infrastructure components eg. Exchange, SharePoint, LYNC and Active Directory.

 

• Migrate Active Directory from legacy version incl. GPOs, Users, Groups, Computers.

 

• Transition from Exchange on-premise, SharePoint to Exchange and SharePoint Online (O365).

 

• Transition from LYNC/Skype on-premise to Skype Online (O365) including implementation of Microsoft Teams.

 

 

Business applications

Implementing core business applications eg. Salesforce Service Cloud (a cloud based CRM solution) and RemedyFoce (a cloud based 24/7 Helpdesk solution)

 

• Implementation of Salesforce Community Cloud and Service cloud to enable a global customer support – automatically monitored response time(s) and follow the sun 24/7 support.

 

• Implementation of Remedy Force as both an internal ITIL supported global IT Helpdesk solution and to support a customer facing ASP support with Salesforce Community Cloud as a frontend for a unified customer experience.

 

Transformation from physical to virtual environments

Implementing datacenter solution to optimize the hardware usability. migrating large number of servers and clients to virtual environments.

• Migrating client platforms and applications from older versions of Windows eg. XP, Win7/8 to Windows 10.

2009 - 2019

Senior Project Manager, Copenhagen

SimCorp - Senior Project Manager. Managing small and large projects in connection to SimCorp's IT infrastructure and business applications. Responsible for the “daily operations” within projects - ensuring that schedules, resource estimates and budgets constraints are met.

 

As a project manager in SimCorp I follow PMI standards, but with an Agile twist to ensure a fast and focused delivery of solutions – daily standup’s (SCRUM) via Skype with team members worldwide. Together with the project sponsor I create the Project Initiation Document (PID) and Business Case (BC). Responsible for creating Project Charter’s, detailed Project Management Plans (PMP), Project Closure Reports (PCR). I perform risk management and change control to ensure visibility within the project. Possible Risks, changes or problems are controlled and approved by the Steering Committee.

Subject Matter Expert / Project Manager, Copenhagen

Unisys - Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Project Manager. My job as a Project Manager, was to facilitate and manage the process of optimization / standardization IT infrastructure projects in some of Denmark’s largest companies. As a SME, I had the technical responsibility for "Real Time Infrastructure" (RTI). My job was to stay on top of RTI solutions as well as to support sales organization.

 

As SME and Project Manager, I was faced with challenges that requires me to stay focused and motivate my team members so that the process did not stall.
